Since studying Woven Textiles at West Surrey College of Art & Design, I have continued to be inspired by circles, spots, dots, colour & pattern. These motifs & design elements still feature strongly in my design work.
After 20 enjoyable years of teaching Art & Design, I have been fortunate to have the opportunity to return to designing and making. Working with mixed media, including, collage, applique & machine embroidery techniques and incorporating handmade ceramic pieces, I enjoy the process of experimenting and developing ideas. Visit my Gallery page to view examples of my work.
As 'Artisans of Market Harborough' I jointly organise and run monthly Artisan Markets, in the town centre. Our aim is to showcase a range of contemporary art & design from local makers and give shoppers an opportunity to purchase unique & quality hand made work.
Stallholders are selected to maintain this ethos & ensure the markets offer variety & quality products to our visitors. Please see the ARTISANS OF MARKET HARBOROUGH page.on my website or look at our facebook page -
